Swimming for new deals?

Hey there bargain shoppers,

If you haven't yet found your perfect swim suit for the beach, pool, or slip n' slide, this is the week to go hunting for one. Starting today at Old Navy, swim wear and tees are on sale for $5. This means you can get a one piece for $5 (regularly priced at around $29.50) and a two-piece for $10 (regularly priced at around $39.50 for both pieces). I went this morning to check out the selection at the College Mall Old Navy and I think that no matter your size, you should be able to walk away with a nice swim suit. There were a lot of XS-XL available in tops and bottoms and in different prints. What I really liked was that the suits were easy to mix and match for fit, print, and color. There were also a lot of bikini and tankini tops, so you really get to choose the coverage and type of support that is best for you. With a deal like this, I would recommend going sooner so that you have more to choose from.

When you go, there are no signs or visible markdowns that show the suits are $5 (it actually looks as though the pieces are only 50% off). Even the cashier this morning didn't know about the sale, but everything rang up properly at $5 per piece. When you get your receipt, you'll also get a survey invite to complete on-line. They usually take about 10 minutes to complete and they'll give you a code to save 10% off your next in store purchase. This would be a good thing to complete and hold on to. Those summer clearance sales are just around the corner...

Have you noticed any other summer sales around Bloomington? Feel free to comment on this post and others to get the word out.

Until next time, happy shopping!

Free Chocolate

Hey there Deal Seekers,

It's been awhile since the last post, but hopefully you've been tracking good deals and sales on your own. Here's one that I came across. Mars Chocolate has given us another reason to say TGIF (Thank Goodness it's Friday) this summer. Starting at 9:00am on today, June 19th, and every Friday up to September 6th, you can complete an on-line form to request a coupon for free chocolate. Here's the link: http://realchocolate.com/ There's a limited number of free coupons available each week, so it's best to sign up early. I signed up for the promotion last month and received a coupon in the mail in about a week or two. Even though this deal requires a bit of patience on your part, you'll still be able to enjoy that first bite into the chocolate bar of your choice.

Have you come across a freebie deal on the web? If so, let me know about it! Until next time, happy deal searching!
